Last February while hiking, found evidence of a “kill” from a predator – moments later, found this ‘girl’ up a tree! Decided to snap a few photos, then back away and let her return to her ‘dinner’….

I often feel incredibly blessed as I hike in search of wildlife to photograph… There are times where I pause and realize that the beauty which presents itself, does so without expectations, without judgement, and without presumption…. I am humbled. I experience a true sense of gratitude, and I begin to feel like I am part of a perfection that knows no limits; Life.
Gorgeous Grizzly Sow
This is the most gorgeous grizzly bear I have ever photographed!! I have affectionately named her “Pretty”; everytime I saw her, I couldn’t stop repeating how very pretty she was!! This fall, she was unfortunately “collared”, which can really present a challenge as photographers! (hahaha!!) Fortunately, this beautiful girl has so much fur, the collar is often hidden. “Pretty” was photographed in her natural habitat this past fall, prior to hibernation…. I have some great captures of this grizzly along with two others – all photographed together!! Stay Tuned!! 😉
